Gdansk Aero Club

Airport in Pruszcz Gdański is located about 10 kilometers from the centre of Gdańsk. Its main user is the 49th Regiment of Combat Helicopters. Multi-tasking machines such as Mi-2 and Mi-24 are stationed here.

Proximity to the International Airport Gdańsk - Rębiechowo and the 49th Combat Helicopters Regiment as well as the sea breeze occurring here, makes flying in this Aero Club a unique experience. It requires a significant commitment and  more perseverance than flying in other clubs. However, the exceptional views that pilots can see from the air are unforgettable. From the north you can see the entire Tricity, Gdańsk Bay, Hel Peninsula, to the east Żuławy, the Vistula river, the Vistula Lagoon, to the south Kociewie full of forests, and to the west the great 'Kashubian Switzerland' with an even greater number of hills and lakes.

It is therefore worth to come to the airport, even for a moment to taste a "different world" and  enjoy the beauty of the local landscape from the perspective of birds.
