The Market Hall serves as a place of “meetings with archeology” where the youth can participate in living history lessons. Thanks to the latest multimedia solutions, and classes conducted in an unconventional way, learning can become enjoyable and young people get inspired to deepen their knowledge. In addition to the standard topics of classes, there is also a possibility to fit learning subjects to individual needs. A collection of reconstructed costumes from the Roman period, both of ordinary inhabitants of Barbaricum and Roman soldiers is an interesting attraction. Films being presented in the Hall are also of educational character and show the daily life in the settlement from the Roman period and tell about amber- the most valuable and most beautiful raw material originating from these areas. In addition, our youngest guests can feel as the real archaeologists for a moment, searching for treasures in a special imitation of an excavation.
