‘Days of Pruszcz’ is the biggest event in our city which attracts over twenty thousand people every year. The celebration has been taking place since 1990, traditionally at the second weekend of June. We try to make the programme of the event as diverse and attractive as possible so that everybody can find something interesting.
A visit to the reconstructed ancient amber trade village from Roman times is an opportunity to spend time with family and broaden one’s knowledge and increase historical awareness. The heritage of the Amber Route and trade between the lands of Pruszcz Gdański and Rome is presented in an interesting and modern way, and the travel back in time, provided by the reconstructors present in the village, is an unusual adventure that should not be missed.
Faktoria of Culture is a project initiated in 2008 in the amphitheatre of the International Baltic Cultural Park in Pruszcz Gdański, next to the reconstructed ancient trade village from Roman times. One of the main goals of the project is to create a friendly atmosphere for meetings with theater and music taking place every weekend in summer.
‘Craftland – Preservation of cultural heritage of the South Baltic Region’ is a three-year cultural project part-financed by the European Union within South Baltic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013.
